Has 10 years of experience in the field of adult cardiothoracic surgery.

After completion of MBBS and MS(General Surgery) at Trivandrum Medical College, graduated from CMC Vellore in 2011 with a gold medal from Dr MGR Medical University in MCh CTVS.

Pursued his training as a junior consultant in adult cardiothoracic surgery at G.K.N.M Hospital, Coimbatore from 2011-2015.

Underwent specialist training in adult cardiac surgery at Flinders Medical Center, Adelaide,South Australia form 2015-2017 during which time, gained a comprehensive training in routine cardiac surgeries as well as hybrid procedures like TAVI and TEVAR.

Underwent specialist training in heart and lung transplantation at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney, New South Wales from 2017-2018 and had been a regular member of the retrieval and implant teams. Got well versed with ECMO, VAD and minimal access surgeries by working with the eminent surgeons here.

Had been practicing as a Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon at SUT Hospital and KIMS Hospital, Trivandrum from 2018-2021.
