On 28th of July, 2012, Dr Gokhale participated in interactive session on “Know your heart” with Senior Citizen’s Club, Nizampet, Kukatpally, Hyderabad. It was precided by Mr Kanakaraju, President of the club. About 75 people participated. Dr AGK Gokhale discussed about the prevalence of the various heart dieases in India and on prevention of heart attacks. He mentioned that age is no bar for heart attacks and that prevention measures like control of diabetes, hypertension, obesity and regular health checks need to be started early in life.
