Dr. Mark Jaidev Batra(formerly VIKRAM BATRA) – MBBS, DNB (General Surgery), DNB (Cardiothoracic Surgery) is a cardiothoracic surgeon with more than 11 years of experience in this field. With a commitment to gain maximal and in-depth training in his chosen specialty, Dr Batra has strived to work hard under some of the leading cardiothoracic surgeons of India.

After completing MBBS from LLRM Medical College Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, Dr Batra completed DNB General Surgery at Kamineni Hospital, Hyderabad. Subsequently, Dr Batra went on to complete DNB training in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Max Super-specialty Hospitals, Delhi. Over the last many years, in addition to obtaining Cardiothoracic surgery degree, Dr Batra has accumulated a comprehensive experience in the entire spectrum of adult and congenital cardiothoracic surgery while working with  several prominent surgeons at Max Super specialty Hospitals Delhi, Fortis Hospitals Delhi, Medanta Medicity Gurgaon, Medicover Hospital Hyderabad (formerly Maxcure), and Apollo Hospitals Hyderabad.

Dr. Batra has a keen interest in the entire domain of cardiac surgery – both adult (acquired) and congenital (pediatric), minimally invasive approaches, thoracic aneurysm surgery, ECMO, and Heart & Lung transplant. Dr Batra is also a certified IT professional, and a published author.
