On this occasion a message-oriented play “Guppedantha Gundelo” was staged by Abhinaya Arts, Guntur. This high emotional play was directed by N Ravendra Reddy. The director revealed that this was a real story which was inspired by the news item published regarding heart transplantation and in the way how it was made success by Dr Alla Gopala Krishna Gokhale.

On the occasion, Dr Alla Gopala Krishna Gokhale (a famous cardio thoracic surgeon who has performed India’s first heart transplant surgery) said “Everyone can dream to achieve their goals. But it can be done only with hard and selfless motive to help others,” .He expressed his gratitude to the artist for their performances and also program organisers – AP Creative and Culture Commission, Cultural Centre of Vijayawada & Amaravati and Vijayawada Municipal Corporation at Tummalapalli Kshetrayya Kalakshetram.
